South Bay Soccer Association is a community youth soccer league serving Los Osos. Around 600 local kids play in the league, and on Saturdays from September to November the field at Los Osos Middle School fills up with players. The league focuses on community, with kids, parents, and grandparents all turning out to take part. It also works to keep soccer affordable: the league has a scholarship program for kids from low-income families that cuts the registration fee in half.
